“CART CHAIR” Consists in an outside chair which translates as a wheelbarrow. It contains a live tree at the back, which give natural shade to its occupant. The “Cart chair” it can be used alone or forming groups. Its design is based on the most usual form of individual transfer of earth in agricultural and construction tasks. The contained soil it is used to feed a living tree (decorative as a laurel or fruit tree like a mandarin), which overshadow the seated person. Contrary to the usual sunshades, the tree does not deteriorate with the sun or the rain. The “Cart chair” consists of five flat plates of laminated timber of 18 mm thickness, joined together with screws. It has a wheel of 10 cms diameter in the back which allows to move it. The concavity contains the tree and is protected by layers of fiberglass. Once this protection is installed, it is filled with topsoil and the chosen tree it is placed. This tree it is installed at the rear part of the Cart chair.
